Lula Ann Bridal: Ronald Joyce Wedding Dress
Accessories: Shoes, Jewellery etc
Shoes: Rainbow, Bag- Accesorize, all other accessories were gifts
What and who did your partner wear?
My Husband didn’t wear a suit, his jacket was from Next, trousers & shoes from M&S
What and who did your wedding party wear?
Girls all had different dresses, baby blue ASOS, baby pink NEXT, bright red/hot pink, ASOS, and lilac multiway was NEXT.
Your Wedding Day Vision & Inspiration
What was your inspiration and vision for your day?
The inspiration was purely to have a good time, good food, good music, relaxed and smiling.
Why did you choose The River Mill Venue?
Relaxed yet industrial vibe. It was beautiful on the river front and we knew it would go perfectly with the colour, the disco balls & was perfect for us.
Did you do any DIY projects?
No, too lazy… But thankfully, we had Tara Knott!
Tell us about the details – Flowers, Cake, Decor, Stationary….
We had two cakes, one sponge cake traditional and one which was 15kg of cheese barrells, it was amazing! The cheese went down a real hit and was presented incredibly by the caterers! Decor was all Tara Knott, my flowers & stationery were both made by my amazing bridesmaid team! I am very lucky to have a best friend who used to work in floristry and another who works in media and stationery!!
Alcohol. Because No Great Story Started With A Salad (…or did it?)
What was on your food & drinks menu?
We had the top package of welcome drinks that Jenkinsons offer and everyone said how much we provided! We also did order one cocktail per person with a 50/50 split of gin or rum available. We had a Barbecue grazer for our main meal which was absolutely amazing!!! Everybody loved how they were served and they tasted absolutely amazing.

What are your favourite memories or highlights of your day?
The decor was absolutely everything I could have ever dreamed of, the weather was simply perfect and was not too hot nor too cold and it complimented the venue perfectly, I couldnt highlight one bit because I simply loved it all, the team I had and The River Mill team made it amazing.
Do you have any advice for future Brides & Grooms?
When people say, make the most of your day and the lead up, don’t ignore them like I did and think you were too cool for school. It really does fly by, remember to soak it all up before it is over.
