Our History
Set in the UNESCO world heritage site of The Darley Abbey Mills, The River Mill is rich in history dating back to the early 1800s. Having been lovingly restored to the highest of standards, whilst keeping all the charm and originality of the iconic Georgian architecture, it is now an exclusive-use wedding and events venue. You’ll find vaulted ceilings, original exposed brickwork and striking cast iron beams which create a unique and intimate space, perfect for all celebrations.
